the clubs are pretty pimp to say the least. they were a bit dinged up and the grips need to be regripped. i bought these used and i like how they play. so i cannot complain about the clubs too much. pw had a nice sized chip that i wasnt aware of until i recieved, but a pw is going to take some abuse, prolly one of my most utilized clubs. i was worried about how i would play with these clubs. im not very good to begin with. i started and still have a set of titleist dci cavity backs. i know what club to use at what yardages and such and i would say i hit probably 75% consistency with the dci clubs. the mb clubs are the shizzle for rizzle. i've only miss hit 3 balls in the last 2 games ive played. these clubs carry as well. on a 132 yard par three at my local course i was using an 8 to get to the green with the dci. i used my pw 690mb and carried about 40 feet past the pin. i was like holy crap! and that wasn't trying to kill the ball either. it was a smooth, clean controlled shot, letting the club do the work. overall, these clubs rock. they had some cosmetic flaws but i would be hard pressed to find another deal like that. 214.00 for a very nice set of clubs.Read full review
The biggest question you have to ask yourself before buying a blade or muscle back iron is do you have the confidence to hit these. Im a 1 handicap and hit these irons great and can pretty much do what i want with the ball 9 out of 10 times with these irons, my friend whose about a 16-19 handicap also has these and has the confidence and swing strength to hit these he can't control them like me but he htis them farther and just as straight as the 690cb's that he tested out first. Before i had these clubs i played the Titleist 731pm (phil mickelson's) they irons play very similar to those except when hit pure the 690mb feel way better and i gained about 3-5 yrds in my pw-6 iron and about 7-10yrds with my 5-2iron. Overall a golfer with a strong and confident swing someone who has been playing regularly with definitely benefit from playing these clubs.Read full review
The 690 mb is one of my favourite clubs, hands down. I usually play mizuno and own the 4's, 68's, 67's, 59's, and 54's, in addition to the ap2 710, and several hogan apex. I play these better than all those. At first, I thought maybe I got a lucky set that just meshed well with my 87-90 mph swing speed with consistent tempo. when I saw a set for an absurd price I bought them too and they are just as good. The titleist 600 series (670, 680, 681, 690) are all pretty much the peak of titleist blades, so much so the new 716 is basically a copy of the 681. I've introduced several other golfers who were afraid of blades to that misconception through these. Pros Great soft feel. You get a consistent buzz when hit right from the ball. Good flight, but can pop sometimes. Great flow through set. Look amazing. Thin topline. Some of the easiest blades to hit available. Great turf interaction. Cons Clubs have been around awhile. Most likely consider new grips into price. Slight tendency to pop. If I had to choose one iron to play the rest of my life, I'd be hard pressed between these and my mp-4s. They are that good. Last outing, 6 birdy putts in 9 holes (didn't make one but that's not the irons fault)Read full review

These are "Used" clubs with rating of 6/7 out of 10. The heads show signs of bag chatter, normal wear from normal use, but the grooves are in descent condition so getting a good bite on the ball is not a problem. I bought these 690s as a guinea pig set to be refinished in black chrome so I'm Really Excited to get these beautys to the shop for a make over. Thanks for reading my testimonial and go Team Titleist.

Well gentlemen, i have to say, that i finally got my 695mb's from Titleist's finest 2006 line of irons. Now, in my first review, i was just "bazooka'd into johnnies territory with my favorite vegitables, broccholi," but i told you guys that i played with Taylor Made's. So, insecure, and maybe even a little depressed, i decided to get myself off the hypo-electric eliptical trainer, and go get them. I must say, everything i dreamed about and more. My first weekend, May 6-7th, i was out east at Shinnecock Hills in south hampton, and i was about 2 under on the 8th green. Now for those of you that dont know about the 8th at "cock" its like the 8th at Fox. Thinking of Fox, i just rocket fired this 6 iron to about 1.5 ft. and started to get the xbox 360 tiger shakes. But i drained it. Then out of nowhere, in this camoflage army fatigue outfit, Corporal Lou "the master commander" "the lipper" tumble-fliped into the bunker in a "tuck and roll position" followed by an immediate featle. Screaming at the top of his lungs, i looked at him and did the "Flying Putter Dance", then picked up my ball and just started running. When we got back to the clubhouse, i realized that i left my 695mb's on the 8th green and started speaking French to the valet. After 10 minutes i realized i wasnt speaking French, but i really just lost the "flipper". Back on the 8th, it wasnt lookin good for Lou. After the yelling rampage, Lou was laying in the sand eating Sand and the caddie was using the flag to waive up the next group. That round actually never happened, and i still dont have the 695mb's, i use Chucks ping blades. When i get them, you will all see me again! For now, i have to go see if Greer is still alive in the front yard.Read full review
