Author Biography
Shane Portman is a writer/script supervisor at Bix Pix Entertainment where he is the writer/co-creator of Moonlight Storytime, a series of shorts for HMH Publishing's Curious World app (and an official selection of the 2016 Annecy International Animation Festival), and the script supervisor for the Emmy/Annie/Annecy Award-winning Tumble Leaf for Amazon Studios. He started writing Allister Cromley's Fairweather Belle as a blog in 2002 and, in 2008, began crafting the stories into live storytelling experiences with directors, actors, and musicians in New York City. In 2012, the first set of 12 stories were published in a book that featured illustrations by 12 independent artists.
