Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Tyre Changers/Wheel Balancers
This item is overpriced for what it is. That said, it’s still a good and useful bit of kit to have in your garage. The build quality is okay. If you don’t have one, then I would buy a rubber ended hammer, as all of the parts that have to be bolted together don’t line up and will need a little gentle persuasion. Once these have been corrected and bolted together, then it seems very sturdy and looks like it will do the job. This will be a massive saving on dealer prices for changing tyres. It’s not to hard to balance the wheel(s) afterwards. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save money and has the confidence to change their own tyres. If you can find it cheaper buy it. I looked and at the time couldn’t find it cheaper, although it was only £35 before lock down (Mach 2020). I’m just need a tyre to change now.Read full review

Bought this and it worked great for a front tyre. Tried to do a rear tyre and the centre bolt isn’t long enough. Second use the arm broke so could adjust the bead break position. Nightmare product!

This is the Second one l have had and l believe that there is a design fault that nobody has noticed. l found that the Centre Bolt is not long enough to put a big Fazer wheel on and do the bolt up, this inturn then made me look at the positioning of the bolt hole, which l believe that it is around 20mm off centre.I got my trusty old Dremmell and elongated the hole and now taking tyres off is like making a cuppa, a piece of P**s. It would of had 5 stars except it should not need to be altered by me to work so well as it does now

This tyre changer looks good in practice, but it really isn't. It's rubbish. This is because when you put your wheel onto it and secure the central long stud through the centre hole of your wheel with the wing nut provided on top (you have to find large enough washers as none are provided), your wheel will still move when you try to break the bead of the tyre with the pivot arm as you are then pushing on the edge and creating a turning point. Your wheel becomes lop sided on this frame and won't stay in place as you push down on the pivot arm to try to break the tyre bead. I found I had to kneel on the opposite edge with all my weight to try to stop my bike wheel from moving as I pushed down to try to break the bead. Not easy! Also there are insufficient rubber protectors supplied to protect your bike rim on the metal frame from damage as you try to break your tyre's bead. In the end I used pieces of bicycle tyre inner tube wound around the upper metal ring with Gorilla tape positioned to line up with the spokes on my bike's rim. Otherwise you will damage your bike rim. Also because you have to tighten the central locating stud so tightly it damages the edge of your wheel's centre hole. I cannot say how bad this design of bead breaker is. I shall be returning it as it is not fit for purpose. It would be a lot easier to just attach the pivot arm box section to a wall and use it this way above your bike's wheel which would be on the garage floor supported by two 4x2 or 4x4 wooden blocks with rubber mats or carpet on to further protect your wheel rims. The pivot arm does not feel that robust. The metal foot that presses onto your tyre to break the bead is straight. It would be so much better if it was slightly angled so it does not slip onto your bike's rim risking scraping it. Also the edge of it is quite narrow and rough thus risking damaging the side wall of your tyres. Not a problem if you are binning the tyres you are taking off but not so good if you are saying swapping road tyres for track tyres. You don't want the tyres damaged! But these round metal frames to supposedly support your wheel do not work. They are rubbish. Wish I hadn't wasted my money on this contraption. BTW there are NO assembly instructions with it. I had to go onto Demon Tweek's website to look at pictures of it assembled.Read full review

It makes removing my tyres an easier job. Between me and my brother we change about 8 tyres a year and at the offer price of £40 after 4 tyre changes its paid for it self. It breaks the bead effortlessly and holds the wheel in place on the center bar while you remove the tyre with your own tyre irons/ levers. Used on 690/701 wheels
