To begin, I am a Washburn fan. I had a Cumberland Jumbo acoustic for years, several WI66 Idols, a J5, and I still have a HB35 that after a few modifications will compete with guitars costing 5x as much. With that said, I was disappointed with this effort. Very cheaply made. I returned it soon after purchasing. I hope that Washburn will return to making quality guitars as they used to. However, it appears that their current business model is to provide budget friendly instruments first and foremost, and as we all know, budget rarely equals quality these days.

This is a fantastic guitar for the intermediate player(like me). Neck feels great(Gibsonish). Action is excellent. Sounds jazzy and acoustic at the same time. I play mostly unplugged but the pickup sounds good and jazzy to me and this ain't my first rodeo. if the price is right then buy one.

I was quite impressed with this guitar as soon as I took it out of the case. I bought mine used for $345 but even at the street price, I would say it's a bargain. Nice build quality and playability. The guitar rings unplugged especially with heavier flat wounds. The pickup is adequate but nothing to write home about. If I had kept the guitar I would have changed it out and it would have been a keeper...

This is a nice guitar. Tuned it up right out of the box and can't put it down.
