Author Biography
David DeLoach has been playing, studying, and teaching guitar for over 40 years. His performances span live international TV to rowdy biker bars, from live concerts with 30,000 in attendance to solo guitar performances for the 1960 Olympic Team reunion, from performing for the President of the United States, playing with the Nashville Symphony, to playing on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, from gigs at the Wildhorse Saloon to playing for kids in a remote orphanage in Africa, from Celtic bands in Texas to rock bands in Lake Tahoe, from recording sessions with Grammy winners, to millions of views on YouTube videos shot in his living room. His time spent at North Texas State University (now UNT) studying jazz guitar with Jack Petersen, jazz theory with Dan Haerle and Rich Matteson, and classical guitar with Mike Harris provided a foundation for a lifetime of both studying and teaching the guitar. His love of teaching has led him to create the material he wishes he'd had when he was learning guitar so many years ago. He has taught private lessons to artists who have sold millions of records, and to guitarists who are picking up a guitar for the first time. His love of teaching is manifested in the time and effort he puts into creating quality educational material. You can check out more of David DeLoach's material at www.MasterGuitarists.com
