A new 2011 model bought lightly used and I've ridden it in dressage lessons and training rides thus far on a 17.2 Oldenburg. As a seasoned hunter/jumper moving into dressage, this is a great first dressage saddle. It's not so deep that you feel trapped (a plus for those of us who like to post), but deep enough to allow us more forward-seat riders to find a good center back from what we're used to. Wonderful leg alignment - every bit as good as my Stubbens AP & Hermes close contact saddles. I also like the suede finish, it's a very "sticky" feel, great for anyone needing to improve the sitting trot and tired of sliding around. Hint: keep a clean small soft face brush to brush this saddle off after riding, especially if you have a white or gray horse! Hair does stick to it. The only weird thing is the overgirth that's designed to keep the flaps down since the synthetic saddles don't mould to the side and leg like leather will. After riding in it, this seems unnecessary for this saddle (maybe it's needed on those with bigger blocks and rolls?), but my dressage friends advise me I can remove it and I probably will.Read full review
This is the MOST COMFORTABLE, QUALITY DRESSAGE SADDLE OUT THERE!! It is a very 'grippy' saddle, the balance is incredible. This coming from a H/J rider x 32 years!! It places my leg, and my body in their respective proper positions. 1st Dressage Tests ever, I won 2/2 Blues!! I know that I was on a decent, if a bit green, mare. But, this saddle fit her well, a large Morgan. With the changeable gullets, this saddle works on our HIGH withered OTTB, & an Appendix QH! I got a great package deal, from eBay, which included the gullet system w measurement device- a $90-100 value, stirrups, and webber stirrup leathers,& a fleece dressage saddle pad (that fits the saddle!) A Stellar deal, all for $567.00!! WOW! It is 2 years old & looks brand New from the box!! I've never had a Wintec before, since we do A-C-rated H/J shows, and leather + certain brands are the 'Gold Standard' in the Hunter Ring, & on the Hunt field. I am, though, seeing more & more of these every year! Now I know why! Thanks Wintec! This saddle Rock & RULES!Read full review

This is the older style Wintec pro dressage saddle which, in my opinion, is a far better saddle than the current newer version. The saddle is well made, comfortable and places the rider is in the correct postion. Glad I purchased this saddle.
Absolutely love this saddle. The fit was exactly what I needed for me and my horse. We were having issues with my old saddle making her back sore and this one corrected that problem.
