He's a world class author, that for some reason never really caught on in America. That's a shame, as I think there would be many people in the USA that would greatly enjoy his books. They are witty, entertaining, funny, with well written plots and a huge range of rich characters, and cover a huge range of topics. Looking back I am surprised just how many important concepts are littered through out his books. Everyone should give one of Terry's books a try, just to see. Books 1 and 2 are a bit childish and slap stick. Sir Terry was learning how to write. Book 3 and onwards, well he found his groove quickly, and soon the critic's were accusing him of literature. I hope you take a chance on one of his book, there are web pages with recommendations on where to start, depending on your preferences. Enjoy !Read full review

An excellent novel from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. It follows three witches as they travel to a distant land to stop a servant girl from marrying a prince, which is more difficult that is seems, and would have disastrous consequences if not prevented.
Classic Terry Pratchett humour. Gives a new insight into Fairy Godmothers....! Awesome perspective on reality. Another good entertaining read for Pratchett fans.
