I've had this microphone for over a year now, I think. I have paired it with my headphones for gaming and simple artstreams. It still works like a charm. Yeah, it's a clip mic and you have to go into your settings for the most optimized sounds (especially if recording or streaming) but it gives you the clearest sound for what it's worth. Also, be very careful when handling, the cords always feel like they might break or snap if they hook onto something (they are very long) I would definitely suggest if you need a quick mic to hook up to just for the reasons above. Don't expect audiophile quality, please...but do expect something that will tide you over for a while with the right settings.

if your planning to get this. best to to use it with either an USB sound card / external sound adapter it sounds WAY better. and place it on your shirt. not beside the headphone wire. though if you think about it the zalman logo part of the mic should've been a clip. its not its just hard plastic that doesn't clamp on your shirt. but then again. 5-7 dollars for so-so mic is not bad AT ALL.

Fantastic mic. Been using one at my desktop PC for nearly a decade now, sitting right under my monitor pointed in my direction. I've had plenty of people tell me how clear it is and shocked at the price for it's quality. I purchased this one to wire into my car's aftermarket head unit to make it truly hands-free, and it's just as clear and high quality in that application as well. The wire is very very long, which is perfect for installing it behind my radio and through my dashboard. When I call someone with my window down they cannot even notice the wind noise. I cannot recommend this microphone enough - for the price, it can't be beat.

For the price this is a big thumbs up. Used as a computer phone. I haven't had any complaints. I go out of my way to ask how is the sound quality. Always good.

I bought this to use as a computer microphone with my Echolink ham radio program, taping it to the boom of my HD300M headset replacing the low level POS mic the headset came with for hands free radio operation. Sound quality and volume levels for voice operation were excellent (behind a foam wind cover that I added) with positive reports from all contacts and natural voice reproduction. I liked the mic (and price) so well I ordered a second mic that I taped side by side to my ham radio desk ball mic/stand behind a round pop filter screen to use during those times I do not wish to wear the headset.
