We had the original 12 years ago when we purchased it as part of a pool package. It worked well and has the same chlorinator cell still working( at a lower level though). Finally its not working . We had replaced the keypad board once before , a few years back for $100. As a new Aussie made chlorinator can cost 2K, this unit is good value. If it was not in the direct sunlight of Summer it may have lasted longer. My recommendation is to put some long acting bug spray near the air vents once and a while as it was a haven for red backs and I suspect that contributed to the board failure. So - roughly $650 for this new unit over perhaps another 12 years potential vs 2k for the Aussie made one means we could have bought 3 of them !. Having just bought this new one , hopefully if I keep it out of direct UV and protect against insect colonization, we should get a good run from it. Good value product.Read full review

Instructions were ok, better to look for videos online which come with more specific advice. The product itself works well, the control panel is intuitive and easy to use. Great product.
