I purchased this product as a DIY Noise Cancelling for my headphones. The molded easy fit ear plugs were easy to use to mold to my ear, and fitting my headphone with them was very easy. It took less than 10 minutes for the mold to become firm and it works great. It stays in my ear, fits perfect cause it's molded to my ear and I will buy again!

We purchased these DIY for our daughter with Tubes in her ears for ear protection while swimming. We HAD to go this route because the new employee at the EN&T Doctor's office couldn't get them correct at $50 a pop...TWICE! So at $10 they are an excellent value. I'd recommend watching several YouTube videos because the instructions do not allow the item to create a bulb as shown on the example. The bulb is what keep the plugs IN the ear and prevents water from entering into the ear canal. Also, it would be excellent if they included a sealant to prevent the crack which are common with this item.

I've purchased several of these in the past but the last one remained sticky well past the 15 minutes I'd given it (If memory serves, the directions say 10 minute). I even tried a bit of baby power to see it'd then, perhaps, be somewhat usable but the compromised integrity still caused it to come apart in places. --Rob Orris

I read a tip on a forum with a YouTube demo about making custom ear molds using the Radians Custom Molded Easy Fit Ear Plug product. It got me to thinking that my set of Westone UM-2 IEMs have been sitting comfortably in their case unused for more than 10 years. Not that I don't like them, but I always have preferred the ease of use and even the sound of my other high end headphones. I have also seen that those who go to the trouble of getting custom ear molds for their IEMs generally say the improvement is significant over the standard ear tips. So I decided to try the tip and do a little DIY ear mold for my UM2s. In my case I did not make the ear tip part of the mold. I simply kept the foam ear tip installed that I normally use and did a simple one step mold. I placed the IEM in my ear and surrounded it with the Radians mold material, pressing and smoothing it in to make a good seal. I let it set up and that was it. They aren't beautiful, but they are quite affective. The difference with the custom mold sealing off the ear is a big improvement. Personally I know I would never have taken the time or spent the dough to get custom molds made. So those IEMs would have sat another decade. But for a mere $10 and a few minutes of DIY invested I think I will be using these much more.Read full review

Great for motorcycle riding; reduces noise and wind-slap in the ears. Great for shooting as well. Easy to use and enough compound for 3 ear plugs (maybe 4) instead of just two. Cheap enough that you can afford to experiment with the amount used and really make an ear plug that is appropriate for your ear.
