Picture doesn't reflect the product that was sent. Instead of what is shown in the picture a usb stick wifi adapter was sent. Plus to that, delivery was delayed about a week and the message that was sent back was providing a track number for which one you'd tried to track, it was showing that the date was the date the message was sent. I would definitely not recommend the seller to anyone.

A necessary adaptor
If you want to record on your phone with an external mic or record from output from a sound desk you’ll need one of these to take your stereo sound and put it into your headphones/ microphone jack. This does exactly that no pops no busses

Needed trimming
It does the job perfectly. I had lost my expensive American connector and am so happy that this exists as it's smaller and lighter, just right for iPhone use. One small problem. I have my iPhone in a bumper naturally. It's not thick like some cases, a nice slim bumper. Even so, the adaptor doesn't fit into the hole because the "shoulder" is too wide. So I took a scalpel and trimmed it down and now it fits and everything works. But in my opinion it is a silly design. Everyone has their phone in a case, don't they? Such a device should be manufactured to allow for it. The American one certainly did.It does the job perfectly.
