Author Biography
DENISE ROBERTSON has been described as Britain's favourite agony aunt, following her work for ITV for which she does two programs a week. From early on in her career she has worked extensively for television, radio and newspapers, plus 16 popular novels previously published by Penguin, Simon and Shuster, and sold very extensively in English speaking markets. A born story-teller, her themes have previously all followed the fortunes of characters drawn from the wealth of her own experience and imagination, and calculated to entertain the reader. With DON'T CRY ALOUD she has been inspired by her passionate reaction to the sufferings of others, as encountered through her work as an agony aunt. She is a patron of 47 charities, has four jobs, a husband and four children.
