Author Biography
Jeannie Hudson grew up on a cattle ranch in Wyoming where her rapport with animals was nourished in a country environment. She attended Casper College where she was the only student to serve as editor of the campus newspaper, The Chinook, for two years and received a full scholarship. While at the University of Wyoming, she began writing full-time and began selling short stories to national magazines. Over the next two decades, she obtained an agent and sold four suspense novels while raising Arabian show horses. After a move to Minnesota, she continued writing and raised show beagles. When she returned to the West, she took up watercolor painting which she has pursued along with writing over the past ten years. She lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota with her husband Adam, an artist, and two rambunctious beagles, Murphy and Bailey.
