Bose products usually have a bad rap here on the internet, especially from bloggers. Its the same kind of dislike for Bose products that alot of people also have for Apple products. These headphones are lightweight, comfortable and very compact. Bose's staple is BIG sound out of small packages and in the case of these OE's they fit the bill well. Like with any good set of cans burn in is necessary to get the best sound. At first you may not be able to tell these cans from any other ones. But after 10 hours of burn in you will start to notice the great sound quality of these headphones. After 20 hours of burn in, you will realize why these mighty little headphones also have a mighty price tag.... They are worth it! One thing that sets alot of Bose headphones apart from the competition is the bass and these cans are no exception. The OE's have great thumping bass, but unlike other headphones like the Beats by Dre for example, the bass doesnt come at the expense of the mids and highs. All are represented well here. The one downside to some may be that the OE's arent noise canceling headphones. But thats not to say the comfy padding doesnt keep out some sound. But these cans are perfect for me as a parent because I need to hear at least a little of whats going on around me :) These headphones have a sound like they are physically bigger than they really are, but at such a compact size and light weight, it makes them a must buy!Read full review
