Over the years we have converted several locomotives to DCC. Once converted they are pain to change the address. Since most of the time, we never change anything other than the number on NON-SOUND units. Now we set the locomotive on a piece of test track, read the locomotive to verify that is set to 03 and then we program the new address and we are done. Going the wrong direction? No problem just read the locomotive and change the "Normal" direction and you are done. Too bad this was not available sooner. Some of us might still have hair.

The main feature I like is the compact and simplicity of operation. The fact that you are able to assign, alter or detect an existing address at the push of a button certainly makes this unit unique. The operational learning curve could not be any easier and I think we have a winner. Thank you "Broadway Limited".

Great product and simple to use. Able to reset a decider that wouldn’t on my NCE system.

I have a Digitrax Zephyr command station (older model) that has been very problematic when address changing new locomotives. I can sometimes use it along with a resister across the track to change the address of sound decoder equipped locomotives but lately, I have been having a lot of problems. The BLI Address Changer does the job easily and reliably. I like the capability to read back the address as well. So far, it's been very handy and I am extremely pleased.
