Author Biography
Researcher, dietitian, biologist, lawyer - like many baby boomers, Penny Harvey's career path had a number of U-turns. Now she's come full circle to research, write, and share what she's learned. Mother of three, grandmother of one, and a perpetual student, she has a B.Sc. (food & nutrition) from the U of A and a Ph.D. (biology) and J.D. from UVic. She retired from the practice of law - for the second time - in 2012. An Air Force brat who's had at least 20 homes (she's lost track, and people use pencil for her in their address books), she may finally have settled down in a riverside cottage on Vancouver Island with her photographer husband Bryan.
