The guitar had its headstock broken off. She was brand new, and spotless. I put a different neck on her and she is spewing out some amazing metal tones!!!

I'm a veteran pro bassist. I bought this for one set with a show band playing funk and disco, so, primarily for it's looks. I modified it extensively to make it road worthy. STILL- I was really impressed right out of the box. It arrived well packed, and with a much better than average set-up. Sounds remarkably good with the stock pick-up, and really is ready to rock right out of the box. Wow! is it pink? Very cool, and highly recommended.

I have a 1994 Peavey Fury and really like the Jazz kind of neck. Also like the stock pickups and the weight is good I use a 3 1/2" strap so the balance is good. It obviously is modeled after the Precision but I had mine customized. Had it painted Surf Green with a black pearloid pickguard. Now I have a awesome sounding and looking bass that I'm getting a lot of compliments on. I've noticed that the price is starting to climb on these so grab yourself one before they get out of hand on a well made USA Peavey Fury. Don't get this review confused with newer foreign made International Aeries

My daughter is learning the bass so we wanted a cool bass for her. This definitely fit the bill, sounds great, looks great, and a very fair price!

I love this Dean bass. It's light weight and plays very nice. Nice action, slim neck and no fret buzz or rattles. This definitely made me realize that not everything made in china is a piece of crap. I was very impressed with the sound, feel and overall playability of this bass. For 200 bucks you can't beat it with a stick. It looks good hanging on the wall with my other fiddles too. Very happy to own it.
