This guitar is a great starting point for anyone wanting a quality instrument . The guitar is well built, with Epiphone quality pickups that have a punch for rock and blues. The finish is of a high quality and very pleasing to the eye. The neck is fast , it has a very comfortable feel about it and is exciting to play and a lot of fun This guitar cannot be faulted, a real gem. Highly Recommended, will not disappoint,

Overall the Epiphone Les Paul Special II is excellent value for money. It produces the classic Les Paul sound for just $250. Despite the price, the guitar itself doesn't feel cheap and nasty; in fact it feels quite solid, making it ideal for gigs. The only problem is the strings that come with the guitar. It appears the guitar has not been 100% correctly set up, as the strings rattle or 'twang' against the neck when strummed. This isn't deal-breaking since it can be fixed by a local music store and chances are you'll want to restring it anyway, so it's not really a big issue.
I bought this guitar for my nephew who is just learning to play.I restrung and played about with it for a few days before handing it over.I found this guitar to be perfect for a beginner, keeps in tune, nice and light and sounds quite professional for what its worth.Price was unreal and quality and finish was great/.I normally go for strats but I am now saving up for a nice Les Paul for myself.
Awesome..👍👍👍

Great sounding pickups which was a suprise for a guitar at that price! Once the action was set up to my liking, the playability of this guitar is extremely good. I would use it anywhere without having to worry about wearing out my expensive guitars. Great for it's price and no wonder having the gibson touch.
