- Looks are very deceiving with this device. It may appear to be a simple unbranded double din screen, but it is packed full of features that are found on similar equipment costing three times as much. I am currently please with the purchase and The android os interfaces seamlessly with the integrated functions on the device. There really is not a learning curve, when it comes to operation. Another great item about this device is the company that sold it to me. Their response to my questions about the product have been very timely and on point. A printed instruction manual was not included, however once the device was installed into may car an powered on I noticed a digital copy of the manual installed on the device memory. - The only blemish to this product is there are no buttons, other than the mute / volume activation feature. But really, as I have mentioned the device is very intuitive, basically if you have operated an android device (phone/tablet) or plugged in a search request on an auto navigation device, using this device will be very easy to you. - Installation was very straight forward, a novice car stereo installer should be able to install the device in less than an hour. - It's still early to determine the durability of the device. I will update my feedback as it changes.Read full review

I installed this stereo into my 04' Acura TL as a project. What I love about it is how thin it is. It fit into the upper area of the dash cluster where the Hvac and radio read-out would normally go. (If you are an Acura TL owner, this is Awesome). Lets get into it. Pros: -This stereo is very responsive and takes on apps with little lag. -When in reverse, the back-up camera will display before the system completely boots which is awesome for a quick departure. -I found that the bluetooth connectivity to my phone was very good and was able to make and receive calls, and stream music relatively easy. -There are some pretty interesting apps pre-installed that are pretty useful if this was a stand-alone tablet, but still useful. -There are a plethora of inputs and outputs for video and audio which is almost unreal for such a small device. -Web-browsing is as easy as using any other android device and seems to work very well when connected to wifi or tethered to a cellphone. -There is an option for a floating quick key (which you WILL need) that lets you adjust volume, mute, and navigate the menus. -There are 2 usb ports and they are snappy with picking up external cards. The description says that it supports up to a 32gb card, but I definitely have a 64gb card in there now and it works fine. Cons: There are a few... -Right away you will note that the software is locked so that you can't uninstall any of the unnecessary software that the device comes with. -The installed audio player is a bit glitchy and the equalizer that the device defaults with only controls the eq, subwoofer, and spacial settings within that app. So if you have spotify, for example, you don't get eq or anything else. -With that being said, I also can't seem to get the sub-woofer output to work. -The default video app will play audio, but blocks the video with a screen that says "Cannot view while driving". This was weird because I was sitting in the garage with the car switched to accessory. I ended up using VLC. -There is only one button that controls you access to the volume control, and when it comes up on screen, it immediately goes away leaving you with little to no time to actually adjust the volume. Push it again, and it mutes the audio. -I have a bluetooth steering wheel controller that would work perfect to get around this however, this version of the software does not allow me to sync it. I have tried third party apps, but they seem to be blocked by the original software. -The cable for the gps antenna is too short to reach the radio. I have it placed in top corner of the wind-shield (where usually recommended). -The camera cables are a bit too short as well. This doesn't bother me because I figure for smaller sedans it would be fine. -One of the less important notes is that in the logo select menu, there isn't an Acura Logo. Everyone else is present. -The audio is decent, but it doesn't sound like the amplifier is being turned down when you adjust the volume. Just the input to the amplifier so you get a lot of hiss all of the time. -I really wish that there was support for ipod connectivity. A lot of radios similar to this in the this price ranger and from this region do support this normally. -I think generally, the software could use an update. This could all be resolved because the majority of the issues are related to the software. If it had Android 5.0, you could use Android Auto and bypass some of the shortcomings. Otherwise, I'd still recommend it because, it could be a great device. I'm going to contact the manufacturer to see what they can do.Read full review

I installed this on a 03 Celica with Jbl sound system, which meant you need an interface/synthesizer, so it took longer to install than usual. I used the Scosche TA03B, which is fairly cheap, also means you'll get some static in the background but that's a different story. There are no instructions but the wires are marked, there is a user manual loaded into the tablet. So far, after 2 mos of use it's held up great!! The GPS is amazing, living in an area where my phone reception is awful the GPS is very helpful. Back up camera is very good. blue tooth works amazingly well, a couple times stopped working, but turning the car on & off fixed the problem. I can hook it up to my phone and control my phone via this thing & vise versa, won't play Netflix it freezes up. Youtube & other video formats work well as long as you not connect the brake wire (green color), if you do it won't play videos while the car is moving. . the speaker will pick up any noise, so if you have a loud car, you'd have to get really close to the stereo in order for it to pick up your voice. The other unfortunate thing is that it's only 3 gigs in other words not much memory room to download many apps. But for the price so far really loving it!!!Read full review

It took me about an hour to install, and it is a very good product at a very good price, is very responsive and has plenty of options, I did not give 5 stars for 3 reasons. The first is that you need to know what you're doing, the package does not include any kind of information... NONE ! The cables are labeled so you can identify them, and when the installation is finish you will find a PDF in the radio with a "manual", but before you manage turn the radio on, you are on your own. (at least they should include a link to get basic info online) Second, the quality of the mic, is not very good, yes it works but picks up a lot of background noise, making it hard for the person you called to understand you. Third, without a knob, is not so easy to manage the volume while driving, my car does not have steering wheel controls, so its harder, but if your car does, then it will be easier to control the volume. Overall I think is a very good product for the price.Read full review
