This G100CE Gretsch Guitar is one unexpectedly easy guitar to play. Also, I just got sold on flat-wound strings that came with it, adding to its playability and handling. I've always preferred semi-hollow electric guitars because of weight but this has really good balance, feeling solid and confident. I also love practicing without having to plug-in since its hollow body gives decent sound volume, another benefit. I LOVE THIS GRETSCH! (I also love the Rancher acoustic/electric!)

When I first saw this guitar I thought, "WTH is Gretch doing now?!! Is this some 40s reissue kinda thing going on here? Kinda looks that way. NOPE! I'm not buying it. I'll keep saving for something nice. Couple weeks later, I'm in a Houston hitt shop, and there it is again. I picked it up and played it. YEP!!! I MUST have one of these when the price goes down. Never did, but I lucked out, and found a 08 125th anniversary edition for sale. "As new" condition. $365 ya say?!! Blonde natural maple. Super nice neck and setup,....SOLD!!
