The Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour is one of the worlds great endurance sports car races. The 2014 event again boasted a heavyweight field of top international teams and drivers fielding exotic GT3 supercars from legendary marques such as Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Audi.In the end it came down to an exciting battle between Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren, with honours going to the Italian marque. Crewed by local Bathurst legends John Bowe and Craig Lowndes, fellow Australian Peter Edwards and former Ferrari F1 driver, Mika Salo, the Ferrari 458 triumphed after a nail-biting fight to the flag with the German HTP Motorsport teams Mercedes-Benz SLS Gullwing driven by previous years winner, German ace Thomas Yager, fellow countryman Max Buhk and Frenchman Harold Primat.
