I picked up this drill here on ebay for quite a bit under the MSRP. It arrived quickly and I was quite pleased with the packaging. It was in a larege box, the package, in case and in another box. This drill is actually the high end magnum model. There are two batteries and the charger. The drill has alot of torque, i caouldnt use it without it flicking my wrists around, the screw feature obviously makes very good use of a torque setting, so you can torque the screws and not have to worry about damaging the wood etc. This is a great buy, the milwaukee's are getting the best reviews around these days and if you can pic one of these up for the price I paid(around 180) then you will be quite pleased. No regrets.
This 2611 is the top end 18v hammer drill from Milwaukee. They call it their corner stone, I agree. This drill has absolutely everything; power - a wopping 650 in.-lbs. of torque (the highest 18v torque drill I could find), 2-speeds trans, variable speed, a super true-running metal sleeve carbide jaw chuck, 2 LED lights, generous rubber over-mold, well balanced, and weight about 5.4 lbs. In addition, you can install the optional bit holder or a belt hook to the lower handle on either side. The 2611 does include the rather larger side handle when you need to control all that torque. One thing, this drill will only accept the M18 XC battery, can't use the M18 compact battery. One last thing about the batteries, the "fuel gauge" on the battery is a must-have feature.
Item was as described. Drill was comparable in cost. The kit is well thought out for its use. Durable and battery is long lasting. The kit has an extra battery with the charger included. This helps for long projects. One battery charges while the other is in use. This is an excellent value..
I don't have a bad thing to say about this Milwaukee hammer drill driver, Model 2611-24. I use it every day on the jobsite and it performes like it has a cord. It got lots of power and long runtime on a single charge. it'a good solid performer. Nothing but HEAVY DUTY...
Small and compact, a lot easier to use than my older battery tool. Pretty powerful for its size
