I use a mobile only when needed and wanted one to compete for street cred with my sons who have iphones. The Nokia 5230 does the job fine, everything works and I recommend it to anyone for a budget touch screen smart-phone. Camera is pretty low resolution by today's standards but I have a Nikon digital camera as well. Could be expensive to run on pay-as-you-go so if you want to use email, internet and satnav get it on a contract.
these phones are a nightmare. you can't get them unlocked and the touchscreen isn't very good
bought this phone from new when it first came out .i am not phone savey, but after messing around with it i found it easy to use and download app's i wanted ,.husband had new samsung which by comparison was crap, his died a natural death so i replaced it with sec'hnd 5230 he loves it .got one too for daughter, when her phone died, and she is phone savey ,she's downloaded allsorts and thinks its a phone you shouldn't dismiss.
