Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Save on Watch Batteries
I have a Casio Solar Tough Pathfinder watch that had a battery go bad after 10 years of use. I tried putting the non rechargeable version of this battery in it and at first it worked ok, but some stuff on the watch didn't work - like the light as I recall. After about 6 months the watch started to lose functionality and finally it couldn't be reset. I thought the watch was broken. I found this rechargeable version on the internet and thought the 300 + dollar watch was worth a 20 dollar risk. I replaced the old battery with this one and buttoned the watch back up only to find it still didn't work right. Not to be detered, I placed the watch outside in the bright sunlight for the day ...and viola - the watch regained full functionality. Saved me 300 + dollars! If you have a solar watch that takes this type of battery - a do it yourself repair can save you hundreds. Have fun with it.Read full review

I was replacing a solar battery in a G Shock watch. Upon putting the 'new' battery in the watch, the battery level read 'low' and was flashing. I thought maybe it just needs a day in the sun to make it good. After a day, the level looked good but then the second day it read 'low' and was flashing. Not sure if I just got a bad one but I'm just saying it arrived not charged and wouldn't hold a charge.

My WaveCeptor watch died after more than 10 years of sterling service and I was ready to toss it. But I had second thoughts and decided to seek out a new battery, if possible. Turns out that the CTL 1616f is the perfect battery for the job. I did a bit of browsing on Youtube to determine the correct way to change the battery. The most difficult part was unlatching the clasp that fits over the top of the battery and that was not that much of a problem as it turned out. The battery was not charged so I had to fully reset the watch after I left it charge overnight. Everything is now working perfectly once more and my trusty watch is keeping perfect time again.

I ordered this battery to replace the battery in my now 15-year-old Casio Baby-G solar watch. It was the only one I could find that matched the old battery, and it fits and works perfectly. My poor little watch can, once again, charge to full (H) and doesn't need to sit in the sun, or under a light for 3 hours to charge to half (M) anymore! Yay!
