I needed a phone with Bluetooth so I could use it hands free in the car. My wife had a Galaxy Gio which works really well so I looked and found this little beauty. I was new to smartphones but found it easy to adapt to this one. A big plus for me is Swype for text entry - its great. So many features I couldn't list them all - downloadable apps, weather, FM radio, news.... the list goes on. Everything I needed. Slight cons..screen is not clear in bright sunlight. Need to get special phone cover as this is the Telstra version & even then I had to enlarge the headphone and charging holes or the plugs wouldn't fit right in.
For a simple user, this phone is perfect, very easy to use some main functions such as making a call or sending a message. if you are a game guy, you need to go with a better phone as this one has a small screen.
What's not to love about these brilliant little phones? I bought mine just to keep me going whilst my Samsung Note was out of action, now I find I don't want the Note fixed! Firstly there's the price. A snip. A fully functioning smartphone for a tiny fraction of the price of a full-sized one. Good camera, takes sharp photos in a range of light conditions, plenty detail for printing. Terrific battery life. Tiny screen enables it to go and go, even if you're on the net as well as the phone. Sure, the two inch screen is a problem for my fat fingers but it has Swype and that usually works out what I'm trying to say. Best of all though is that this little phone is a wifi hotspot so you can use it with a tablet or netbook. I use a small tablet to give me a better screen and keyboard and the combination is delicious. With the tablet only switched on when needed, and the good battery life of the little Samsung, I can travel without desperately seeking mains power everywhere like I did with the Note.Read full review
I found this smart phone compact and simple to use. Operates on android gingerbread. Great for calls, text, checking email and news/ weather. Provides notification when fully charged. Uses a mini-sim.

I bought this for my wife to replace her HTC Wildfire S, that she dropped on a concrete floor and broke. It is a great little phone. She wanted a smart phone for a prepaid telstra plan that she could easily fit in her pocket. The only feature that is missing is the abaility to play adobe flash. Coupled with a nice little leather case, it is also now well protected from damage. Her favourite feature is the drag to type, instead of a touch per character. It is much quicker for texting than her HTC. This feature only seems to be on the samsung phones.
