The graphics are equal to or better than the arcade machines. The game play is quick and fluid no slow down whatsoever. Now the con you can't turn the AI fighter speed down all the way like you can with your fighter. I have only played Street Fighter 2 so far and this review is based solely on it.

Game does not play on ps2. The disc is in pretty bad shape. Whenever I put the disc in my ps2. This is what happens.

everyone complains about how HARD this game is, but this is the exact thing that keeps me from putting the control down. its actually a challenge to me. im glad its too hard. anyway what i dont like about it is everyone you face in arcade mode is from super turbo, this doesnt do justice to the philosophy of theirs that "every game has its advantages" which it does, its just annoying when i feel like i might as well just be playing super turbo. also i dont like that when you beat arcade mode with a character it shows their super turbo ending no matter what version you used. i also wish there was a place in the gallery where you could see everyones ending from every game. part of the reason i wish theyd use other versions of the game in arcade mode is id like so much to see me as akuma facing street fighter II characters, something about that makes me feel like im upsetting the space time continuem its great. the animated movie included is also fun for a laugh or two.Read full review
It's a fun game. The graphics are actually better than I remembered for games of that time period. It's also a great value; 2 games on one disc! it also shipped fast.

This PS2 game has two of the best fighting games known to man on one disc. Hyper Street Fighter 2 has so many different options in terms of gameplay and challenge as well as changing the color of the combatant's uniforms. It is very enjoyable. Street Fighter 3 continues to improve on its predecessor. for example, you can now choose from three super moves, whereas SF2 only had one super move per fighter. It also features a different roster of fighters; save for Ryu, Ken, Akuma, and Chun Li, all the combatants are new. The graphics are hand drawn here compared to the spritework of the previous game. The reason I purchased this game is because the Street Fighter series has a solid reputation as being one of the best games around and I can definitely vouch for that. I suppose the only flaw would be that SF3 is not forgiving for beginners; it's more for hardcore gamers. For instance, the parrying system is hard to get a grip on. There are a lot of fighting games on the scene nowadays, but this is the one that started the whole fighting trend. Classic characters, solid gameplay, and an excellent soundtrack make for one great collection. Overall, this is a game that should be in anyone's collection whether you're new or a seasoned pro.Read full review
