I am rebuilding an old sand scorcher, and it was in worse shape than in thought.$. The trial arms on the front end needed to be replaced as well as the plastic bearing which hold the ball joints. The "new" sand scorcher front end is a bit more robust. Ball joints are larger and the plastic ball joint holder do really "click" into place. The change over was rather easy, parts matched up (screwed in) with out a problem (old vs. New). If you have an old sand scorcher I recommend this up grade. The front end is tighter. Do not forget the screw bag for the ball joints. Down load manual on Tamiya site.

Can't go wrong o.e. fit and function. I used these along with uprights and new ball joints to repair a sand scorcher I built in 1983. You may replace all the parts from the 2010 model for it to work but it will function correctly with the same geometry.
