What a disappointment. After reading the published reviews I believed I was purchasing a valuable in depth guide to making a crossing from Tahiti to Australia. Instead I find there is very basic and limited ‘real’ information for a cruising sailor. The use of Navionics charts is nothing more than repeating what all sailors should already have. Actual and in depth information on entry and exit requirement is all but missing. ‘A definitive work on Pacific crossings’ as quoted by ‘Cruising’, whoever they are, it is not! Sadly I paid close to $100 aud for a glossy book shelf piece.
