Oprah
This is a work of fiction pure and simple. I might have believed some of the things that Miss Kelley had to say about Oprah, but she took Oprah to task quite heavy handedly for not checking sources and backgrounds on some of her guests, but in the book, Miss Kelley referred to a town in Mississippi by the name of "Centobia", there is no such town, the town she referred to is "Senatobia", with the incorrect spelling, it made a different word entirely. I have an extremely hard time believing the book when such an error has been made. The book is slightly entertaining, but I believe she portrays Oprahs 'power" more than it is with a lot of detail to her vengeful manner of dealing with perceived enemies. For fiction, great, for truth, look somewhere else.

Coming of Age in Mississippi
I loved the book because it told a story about a place I know at a time that I knew it, from another cultures perspective. I can remember the fear of blacks and whites in Mississippi at that time in history, the 50's and 60's, because I am a child of the South of that time period. It was very informative, written with great style, and what I believe the true perspective of what African Americans were feeling at that time. Great Book!

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
I have watched this movie 3-4 times and every time I watch it, I catch another little nuance of some attitude, feeling or perspective different from the first time I saw it. Everytime I watch it, its like watching another movie about the same thing all over again. I guess I watch it from anothers perspective everytime that I watch it.
