Great lens! nice upgrade from 18-55mm and great value for money!

Gave me the bit more zoom and versatility that i was looking for!
Seems to give a slightly "cooler" photo as compared to the other nikon kit lenses ive used, such as the 18-55 or 55-200. This i found to add a pleasant feel to my photos.
Slightly better bokeh too!
The only downside ive seen is that it is slightly heavier, does still have a pastic mount ring (which worries me) and... thats about it.
Not necessary for a beginner over say a 18-55, however a very pleasant luxury to have even if you are!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
