Model was exactly as described and the seller went above and beyond to answer my questions and make sure the specific pieces I asked about were in there before I bought it, even sending me extra photos. Item was shipped in a sturdy box, and seller even wrapped the clear parts and loose parts in a small bag to protect them from scratches. Item was packed up really well and made it safe and sound - even arrived a day earlier than expected. Highly recommend!

Warbirds of WWII, Vol. 2 - DVD - Very Good - Warbirds of WWII-N/a - 1 - Unrated
05 May 2022
background on 3 famous airplanes
While it could be a 10 star product if there were more planes covered, this dvd does a decent job of informing and showing the 3 planes in various modes-flying, taxiing, parked. This volume covers the Hawker Hurricane, Messerschmitt Bf-109, and the Griffon powered Spitfire. The Griffin engine replaced the famous Merlin in order to bring the Spitfire's advancement to it's maximum. Each plane is covered for about 45 minutes. This disc was not worn out, so I was able to enjoy the coverage of the 3 planes at an affordable price. The airplane crowd will enjoy this disc, whereas the Barbie crowd will just run off to the mall....
Clint Eastwood: The Universal Pictures 7-Movie Collection [New DVD] Boxed Set,
20 March 2022
Some of the more obscure, but gotta have movies
If you like Clint Eastwood and have one or more of the other collections that have been sold, this set contains many of the movies that I have not found in most sets. I had bought a 31 movie set, had the spaghetti western set, and this set contains other memorable but rarely included movies. Sure, they are available individually, but buying this set saved quite a bit of money, more like a "buy 4 and get another 3 free" sort of deal. This set complements the other more common sets to give you a broader sense of Clint's filmed subjects. I enjoy his movies, and am glad I bought this set. If you like Clint, and if you are looking at these listings you must, then buy this set for another best bang for the buck deals.
Warbirds of WW II Vol 1 (DVD, 2008)

Affordable and fairly thorough
History with a pertinent and personal touch. The chapters about individual airplanes is good, and for the most part, the interviews with the "experts" is pretty good. I normally don't pay a lot of attention to the bonuses on the dvds if the subjects are the same, stale old history or if the narrator can't pronounce the names accurately, like some of the more famous personalities have done in other series. The bonus following the bombers was interviews with Allied prisoners of war. I found these very interesting, and like one said, real life is nothing like Hogan's Heroes. I do wish there were more airplanes covered. The bombers consist of the 3 American heavies. But WWII had a lot of medium bomber usage, and some very significant missions. The coverage on the 3 planes covered is quite thorough. Nothing that isn't covered in many series of books such as the Crowood Aviation Series or the Putnam or Naval Institute Press series. The books can get stuffy when they get into the super nerdy portions. But I have enjoyed the discs I have viewed so far.
