Cheap ... but works.
Looks very similar to the cheap and nasty one it is replacing. Which only lasted 12 or 13 months. No particular evidence that it meets Australian Standards. But it works ... and it's very difficult to get hold of replacements locally for old computers ... so limited choices available. It'll probably give up the ghost fairly early ... but let's see!!

Great value, perfect purchase for the purpose.
Easy to get going, comes with two batteries that give reasonable run times ... obviously dependent on usage, easily recharged via USB provided. Be aware though misprint in instructions ... the red charging light indicates charging ... NOT that charging is complete!!Intuitive controls. Stable platform for 12/14 year olds, great flip function. Great led lights that make orientation easy, and night flying very achievable. Lights blink when low battery. Good/appropriate selectable speeds. Seem to cope ok with some pretty hard landings. Prop guards and spare props provided.
Haven’t used the app/camera yet, so can’t comment on that aspect. Been concentrating on having them master the basics first.
For the money great value. Minor niggles ... silver prop hubs drop off and easily lost ... doesn’t impair function ... only aesthetics. The trim function is cumbersome, but achievable, and the remote range is more like 40-50 metres (rural area) than the “up to 100 metres” advertised. Really though ... I doubt you’d want to run a lightweight like this much more than that anyway.
