RE-BIRTHED BOOTLEGS
The first disc was as expected; this NYC concert has been doing the rounds under different names for years so no surprises. The second disc allegedly recorded on November 1st 1977 in Albury NSW (Australia) is an exact copy of a Lou Reed bootleg that's been around for years called "Banging On My Drums" except in the latter the liner notes claim the tracks were recorded everywhere BUT Albury. I saw Reed in concert on November 7th 1977 in Perth WA so I was hoping a live recording from one week early would be similar; no two Lou Reed concerts were exactly the same but disc 2 in this set does not come anywhere near the brilliant performance he put on a week later in Perth. Disc 3 is okay but not remarkable. The best live Lou Reed recording for a long time has been released as "Hassled In April" ...highly recommended.

Comparatively cheap but will not transmit anywhere near 60 meters as advertised.
One of the cheapest on the market but definitely does not transmit and receive over a distance of 60 meters as stated on the packaging. Line of sight 25 meters at best. If you are lucky it might transmit and receive from one room to the next around a corner.
