Velo Orange Mojave Bottle Cage - Extra large Size
26 April 2017
Good but not quite straight
I bought this hoping that it would fit my Camelbak 1L bottle. Unfortunately the bottle is not quite wide enough for this cage. I bought a Nalgene Silo (1.5L) instead which fits perfectly. It also fits 1.5L PET/soft drink bottles and probably some other 1L soft drink bottles. The five mounting holes on the base are helpful to position the cage within the frame triangle especially when using large bottles. On all the bikes I tried this on, the bottle wasn't centered properly and was poking out the left side a bit. I think this is an issue with the welding or bending of the cage. Being stainless steel I should be able to bend it into place though.
