Blue Replacement Cushion Pad Headband Pads Earpad for Logitech G430 G930 M4H6
16 May 2017
Perfect replacement
Chose the free postage and was fortunate enough to have it arrive 3 days ahead of estimate. Not necessarily under the seller's control, but that was great. The material used in the pads is an exact replacement for the original G430 headset pads. The earpads are very easy to replace and I did it within a few minutes at my desk at work. Of note though, I haven't yet had a chance to try to replace the headband pad. All the videos I've seen of people attempting to do this have resulted in destruction of the original headband pad. I would like to attempt to replace it without destroying the original so that I can wash it and keep it as a spare. This is no fault of the seller, simply how they were designed. I suspect that it is possible to remove part of the headband to allow the pad to be slid out, but I don't have the tools to do that here at work.
Serfas Mens Rx Sports Eliminator Performance Bike Saddle

Great for a light rider with unpadded shorts over cobblestones.
I've owned and loved the related product, the Serfas 921V for years on my hardtail MTB, so when I picked up a Specialized Diverge recently, this saddle seemed worth a shot. I rode with it during the Melburn Roobaix on the weekend over some pretty rough cobblestones and at the end of the ride my backside was still good to go. For context I'm a 65kg rider, who likes riding a combination of sealed and gravel/dirt paths. While I'm at the lighter end of the scale, I'm also quite skinny around the sit bones. Combined with an aversion to wearing padded shorts, firm saddles used to leave me feeling quite sore on both the squishy bits and the sit bones at the end of a long, bumpy ride. This saddle gives me none of that. I'm also running 700x30c tyres at 50psi to help soften the ride a little, so your mileage may vary if you're a much heavier rider, or running much higher pressures. If you're already riding with padded shorts but need a bit more, then this might be what you need.

Protractor Angle Finder Combination Square Set 300mm 12” Carpenter Tool woodwork
04 January 2021
Great value for $20 price point
Firstly, I want to preface this review by saying that Bunnings try to sell you the exact same thing for $69. Go look up the “Eclipse 300mm Combination Set”. At that price point this would be terrible value. For under $20, however, this is great value. Keep that price point firmly in mind. If precision and accuracy are your absolute priority, you need to be paying more than $20. The ruler itself is nicely machined and the markings are engraved. The attachments slide along it well enough, though getting them onto the ruler can be fiddly. There is no alignment grooves or any other registration in the construction of the rail “lug” to prevent it from rotating inside its shaft, so you may need to manipulate it until it aligns with the groove in the ruler. I’ve attached a photo to show what it looks like when misaligned. Remember: price point. The centre finder seems to be just fine. It’s hard to mess that up. The square also seems to be square. The protractor is where things get ropey. You can see this from the product photos, but the angle indicators are moulded then filled with paint rather than engraved into the protractor frame. Look at the attached photo closely and you can see how blobby and vague the indicators are. They are wide enough to cover 2 or more degrees. I would suggest blacking the markers out and scribing your own. Secondly, the angle markings themselves are applied with a metallic sticker. At least on mine, the sticker was misaligned, but it was also not fully pressed in so I was able to lift the entire sticker off with my X-acto blade and then reposition it correctly. It would be better for them to be engraved like the ruler, but expected for this price point. The sticker being misaligned is manufacturing error rather than a price point design choice and it loses some marks for that. You might think I’m disappointed with my purchase but I’m not. This is the level of quality I expected from this price point and is especially good value when you compare it to what Bunnings want you to pay. Had I paid $69 for this I would absolutely be disappointed.
