Pricey rubber bands seem to work well
The product seems fine. Went on with a bit of expected work, but I really won't know until they've lasted a few years. Regardless, it's a boatload of cash for two rubber bands and there just isn't enough competition out there. Used to be able to buy these from Craftsman for around $9, but they don't stock them anymore. Gotta run the saw. At least they're pretty!

You get what you pay for
It's a great value, but if you're looking to be impressed by the sound, come on... It's a tiny speaker powered by a 9v battery. It WILL give you some sound, be it tinny and hollow, and if that is enough for you to get in practice with an electric instrument, then it has some value. Just don't think you're going to be performing for even the most accepting audience (parents/friends/etc.) without sounding like a crap toy.
