Seagate ST1 Microdrive 4GB 3600RPM 2MB Cache CompactFlash CF+ Type II ST640211CF

Check your camera online before buying for compatibility
I have a older Nikon DSLR, a D70 that uses CF memory cards, anyway the ST1 microdrive does not work in it (even with the updated firmware). It is a common problem I discovered once I searched online to see why I couldn't get it to work (standard CHA memory error shown). Also the microdrive is larger than typical CF cards, about 1mm-2mm thicker, and as such does not even fit in my computer CF memory card readers. So I can't use it in my camera or as a thumb drive either. Just a warning that if you have a double digit Nikon DSLR that uses CF cards it will not work for you either - or if you own a older DSLR it seems about from 2006 or older. If you have such a camera I found standard 1 GB and 2 GB CF cards type I or type II work fine in the camera and card readers though.

10 Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Multi Charger Hub+Power Adapter for PC Laptop Computer

Powered hub works great
With a included power supply (5v 500ma) I took a chance and tried this hub. The build quality was better than expected and USB plugs fit it well too. When I first tried it in Windows 8.1 the hub was problematic, but it seems it was Window settings. After I disabled the power saving functions to turn off USB devices in the advanced options in the Device manager's USB properties and Power Options program it is working great. Most of my devices work fine with the hub (webcam and mic combo, scanner, game controller (gamepad, joystick), USB audio interface, keyboard, mouse, and etc.) - The only thing I had issues with was my USB WB Passport hard drive, likely as it is older and requires more power than 500ma (but works fine in my PC USB port). My iPhone is not recognized when plugged into this hub, but works on any USB PC port just fine. The iPhone battery will not charge either when connected to the hub. Seems to be a common problem with most hubs, but worth mentioning.
AniMed Pure Brewers Yeast Horses & Dogs Supplement 2 lbs

Great feeding option after some sifting
The sale was 5 stars and great all around, but the product I have to give 4 stars. While it is the more affordable option for feeding various insects (fruit flies, springtails, isopods, etc) and other uses, it does have a minor issue. With all AniMed tubs I've purchased I always find varying amounts of clumps (see my photo). I have to use a sifter to remove all the clumps in the yeast before I can use it. The clumps range in size from 1/8" (3mm) to 1/2" (1cm) typically, and if smashed are usually a bright white powder (no idea what it actually is). So to that end I usually loose several ounces per tub from clumps that I have to throw away. Other than that the brewers yeast is great and is no comparison in it's use compared to local store active yeast - and it's small upfront price compared to huge bag quantities. I recommend it for anyone's animal needs, just be sure to remove any clumps first. The product has always been consistent for me between batches, and worth the simple sifting.
