The Saint: The Complete Series (DVD, 2015, 33-Disc Set) - in Dolby Digital
23 May 2019
Quality issues
So far 2 of the 5 discs could not be played in their entirety. The program will just get sketchy...and then freeze. Tested player with other movies...and no problem. Fortunately...the episodes that froze were less than stellar...and the ones that played through were enjoyable. You do have to go into your TV settings menu and reset the aspect ratio...or the actors will appear too wide and flat.

Pac TL-PTG2 Tone Generator & Polarity Tester For Rca Cables And Speakers New
25 August 2016
Very useful speaker testing tool.
Performs as advertised...just do not expect Fluke controls or build quality for $30. An extensive search revealed that this tester has little or no direct competition. I believe there is a market for a quality portable battery powered sweep tone generator with variable voltage (speaker tester).....if available for $50 to $80....maybe with a small meter or LED indicators...and on/off switch. Wake up Fluke ! Either design and build a new model...or add these features to an existing model.

New JBL Xtreme 2 Portable Bluetooth Wireless Waterproof Speaker - (Black)

Xtreme 2 vs pair Charge 3's
Went from pair of Flip4's to Charge 3's to Charge 4's to Xtreme 2's...and Riva Turbo X, Oobtz and others..in search of a balanced hi fi accurate sound. Xtreme 2's are loud bloated bass thumpers, Charge 4's are just less of same formula. Settled on pair of Charge 3's which in stereo mode at 1/3 volume have a nice sound stage and good tonal balance. Placement is critical...moving slightly in and out of corners and experimenting with hard and soft surfaces..will yield a satisfying and inexpensive bluetooth Pandora system. I found 2 new in box Charge 3's for $115 ...way less than one new Xtreme 2. The Riva as-new was only $55 ...looking for a mate. Point is...there are Serious bargains in 2 and 3 year old BT speakers. Not everything new in this world is better. The older Klipsch KMC 3 is another sleeper. The batteries on older BT speakers may be weak or failing...and system better if plugged in. That's why I kept a pocket sized Oontz Angle 3 Ultra for travel... and quickly sold the bloated bass Xtreme 2 for a $60 loss.
