Lighter, more Power, sleek nice, design change nice but with caveats.
I wanted to upgrade from the iPad 4g with 32gig to the iPad Air with more horsepower and more storage. I use the iPad mainly for music playing and recording. Some of the synth apps I use are big apps, and the processing of the recording apps needs all the processing I can get. The iPad Air plays nicely with my apps, always can use more horsepower.
Apple continuously changes the design just enough on their products to make it a pain to use iPad stands, covers, and connections. That and the problem of exporting to a portable HD my recordings make me not like it so much. But I'm hoping with the release of iOS 8 this fall, the Devs of my favorite apps will find a way to export my wav files to and external HD. I could export to iTunes, but why?! I could give this a 5 star if Apple would allow me to export.
