Good Performance in The House But A Bit Tinny
This cordless phone set is a breeze to set up, is quite versatile in its components and gets good reception throughout the house. It coexists well with my Motorola MD491 2.4GHz system. The only real drawback it is has a tinny sounding earpiece in the handsets. The Strengths! » Incredibly easy to set up. » Trilingual support in English/French/Spanish on screen » Bilingual support in English/French on base » 20 native ringtones, three or four of which are decent » Several empty ringtone slots you can fill from on-line service » Can have up to dozen devices added to system with 4 active at any time » Can use a camera/intercom/room monitor » Color screen or monochrome screen handsets available » Bluetooth connection to system available » Quality v. Time selectable on digital answering base » Private/Public phonebook on base/handsets » Can control the lighting on base, which is brilliant so it goes off at night » Daytime and night time selectable ringers » Can have different ringer for numbers in phone book. What's Not To Like? » On satellite units the blue LED on the charger base is ALWAYS on » Frame rate on camera is low » Handset earpieces are lo-fi. Have better sound in my Motorola V635 GSM phone » Other handsets/base continue to ring after line is answered at other unit » Page/Answer button is hidden behind handset on base unit. That is about it for negatives. No real deal breakers there. I've been able to test all but the BlueTooth portion of this system and found it all works exactly as advertised. The chargers from the satellites for the MD491 worked perfectly for this system and in some instances where the MD491 satellite phones had given up the ghost I did a direct replacement. I liked moving from the corded base to the cordless base with this set. I still use the corded base in the office. When I got the MD491 my kids were little enough I had to make sure I had at least one phone that couldn't "walk off". Now I can go totally wireless and it is working out well. If not for the tininess in the sound these would have received a 5/5.

Nokia 2760 is a solid basic device. Nothing fancy - it just works!
This is another of Nokia's low end devices for T-Mobile. Usually seen in a plastic carton to be used for Pre-Pay this device works just as well on the contract end of T-Mobile's business. Appearance- This folder is a cute little phone. It isn't flashy, it isn't all black or black and chrome. Blue and Bronze are the most frequently seen colors. Both are non-garish. The inner display is about 2 inches, more or less with a 16 bit color depth and a 128 x 160 resolution. The outer display is a monochrome blue with a 98 x 68 resolution. Low end doesn't mean featureless. 1- VGA camera, just right for MMS but not really adequate for making prints. 2- S40 User Interface is familiar to everyone who has ever used a Nokia phone. 3- Dual-band folding GSM phone E850/1900 MHz for North America 4- FM radio requires the use of a wired headset 5- Bluetooth supports DUN, FTP, GAP, HFP, SAP, SDAP, SPP profiles. 6- E-mail supports IMAP4, POP3, SMTP 7- Mobile Internet access via a WAP browser. 8- MMS, SMS, IM and Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging 9- Caller ID on the outer screen, also clock on outer screen 10- MMS quality video recording Keep in mind that items 1,6, 7 and 10 are on a small 128 x 160 screen. That is low resolution and small size. In some ways this is a jump back to 2005 and the 6103b but with no external antenna. You'll be connecting to the Internet via EDGE since this device is not 3G capable. Given the limitations of the display 3G really isn't needed. It has a good contacts application. This is a very basic phone but is in no way cheap or flimsy. The examples I've handled are well built and appear to be pretty sturdy. If you use your phone to browse the internet, navigate through town, run word processing and spread sheet applications then you'll want to go further up the food chain than this. If you use your phone to makes calls, send texts and MMS then everything you need is in this very inexpensive and tough package. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Nokia [DT-900] Qi Compatible - Wireless Charging Plate ONLY - Black
12 October 2015
Robust and Reliable Wireless Charging, Qi Standard Nokia DT-900 Charging Plate
I bought this to charge my Qi standard wireless phones. I've used several DT-900 over the last three years in black, red, white and cyan. They have all worked flawlessly over that time with the exception of the cyan DT-900. This morning when I checked my phone was not charged, the DT-900 LED was off and the charging plate was quite warm to the touch. The Pros: § Simple to use. Plug in the AC adapter, connect it to the charging plate with the CA-211 cable, place the Qi standard wireless charging device on the plate and watch for the LED to glow solid. § Silent - unless you've got your phone set give audible notifications this is a silent process. § Audible alerts - set your phone to have audible notifications and you will receive notice when: » charging is complete » charging is initiated § Visual alerts to let you know when: » charging is complete (LED goes dark) » charging is in progress (LED constant) » charging is in error state (LED blinks) § Large "sweet spot" for placing the device to get connected. Based on my tear down of the unit that failed there are three substantial, copper coils that occupy almost the entire resting surface of the plate. § Solid construction. The charging plate will not separate into its component pieces if dropped. § Reliable charging. I've had a single unit, out of many, go bad, otherwise it was worry free charging. The Cons: § The CA-301 AC adapter is large, it could occlude two additional outlets on a power strip. § The power port on the CA-301 and the DT-900 is a proprietary design, a coaxial ~2mm diameter hollow pin that is not the same as the Nokia pin chargers. Good luck finding a non-Nokia aftermarket replacement or trying to acquire the parts to make your own. Replacement CA-211 are available but a bit pricey for what they are. § The CA-211 cable is male/male. The male ends are not as robust as I would like. I've had instances of bent pins. § The LED is bright, I usually put something in front of it when charging the phone at night in the bedroom. I've given this a 5 star rating because it does what it is supposed to do almost all the time. My nit-picking of design details in no way indicates this is not a really functional item. It could be better.
