Wow
Since it's so hard to find a review on a Hawke Frontier I decided to write one. I'm no expert but I do own 2. Apart from great stats (FOV, 6x ratio etc etc) these scopes are crystal clear. I just had the pleasure of comparing my hawke to a swarovski and well, I found it hard to pick a winner. It is very very clear and bright. Now swaro makes a 5-30 as well but it's nearly 3x the price. I don't care about the extra 200grams so this is perfect for me. I have both crosshairs and both are nice, but for my 308 I prefer the LR Dot. I got the 5-30 as I don't hunt or target less than 50m.
If you want to know the flaws, I can only think of 4. The magnifying dial is opposite to other scopes (so if you own several scopes you may wind the wrong way a few times) and secondly, the warranty isn't transferable so it might be hard to sell 2nd hand. You don't get flip up lens covers as standard, they are extra. The last complaint is it's made in China. Otherwise I have NOTHING to complain about. It really is amazing clarity. I find leaves are so crystal clear they almost glow on the edges. It looks like an illusion but it's excellent. If you're thinking of buying one but hesitant, I think you should just do it. The zoom is incredible, the clarity is brilliant. What else do you want? PS I've also compared this to a vortex crossfire II. This is MUCH nicer than the 3-12x56 vortex I looked at.
If you're finding it hard to buy one online without seeing it, just buy it, I did, and now I own two.

Tricky to use
Watch out for static electricity, these little stickers want to gravitate to your hand, arm, wrist, the wall, fold on themself, anything to make it difficult. Made it tricky to get straight on wall, but I finally got there. After a few hours some started to unpeel and fall off the wall even after washing the wall beforehand. They look great but some want to unpeel and unfold. A few too many roosters and chooks. Gimme some horses or goats or something else! They were squashed in post so possibly why they wont stick.

Cheap and does the job
Great on rimfire if you wish to put a scope over the rear sight and use old weaver/picatinny rings. $10 made in china means I cant give 5 stars because you just don't get good stuff for so cheap...time will tell if it doesnt rust or break
