Value,shape design,excellent blade steel,handle and sheath.No doubt about Swedish quality.
For me it is the ideal shape and size for skinning sheep and medium size animals for home consumption with just enough blade length, just enough guard and an excellent grip to stop the hand from slipping forward onto the blade but a guard that doesn't snag on the skin or get caught in the wool as I found other knives with projecting guards do and were so annoying..
I'm speaking as an amateur but have slaughtered quite a few sheep for home use.
Also, I was so pleased with the knife that I intend to buy one for a friend who still kills his own sheep and ti who I owe a favor.
Value is terrific.

Outstanding in all respects.
Have purchased me one and was so impressed have given two(2) so far as gifts to friends who both hunt small and medium sized game and kill sheep for home consumption.
I really wish I had one 30 years ago when I too killed,skinned,gutted and butchered sheep for self and other family.members(am now 79).
A great size and blade shape,first class grip,excellent Swedish quality and excellent(surprisingly cheap) value.
I still have another to give to a deserving friend.

A wonderful gift item for a worthy friend.
This review might differ from others but being absent from home for about six months, I built up a few obligations and debts to friends who had done me favors in my absence.
This fine knife, excellent quality and value for money , gave the recipient a hell of a lot of pleasure to receive as as it did for me to give as a way of saying thanks.
I had been interstate (not in jail).
