TRUMPETER 06704 1/700 BRITISH HMS BATTLESHIP DREADNOUGHT 1907 PLASTIC MODEL KIT
29 May 2020
HMS Dreadnought 1:700 scale.
This is a great, if not historic ship model that was basically the world's first battleship. Mine is the early model (1907) and is very well detailed, easy to assemble, all parts fit well, and there was no flash on the parts. Wooden decks and photo etch parts are available in the aftermarket. I added the wooden deck and railings. I highly recommend this ship model.
King & Country - World War II German Wehrmacht Bugler FOB059 WWII Blitzkrieg
29 October 2016
Heer Bugler
The good about this German Army bugler is that it is accurately painted and attired in early war colors and uniform. The painting is perfect. The weight of the piece is heavy, which is good and it reeks of quality. If there is a negative aspect to it, it is not in 1/35th scale which is what 90% of military models are built to. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
Airfix Bristol Beaufighter TF.X 1:72 Scale Plastic Model Airplane A04019

Airfix Model Airplanes/Bristol Beaufighter
Since I haven't actually built this model, I can only speak to the quality of Airfix models, which is excellent. The Bristol Beaufighter is in line to be built as soon as my Airfix Grumman F4F Wildcat is completed, which is a gem by itself. Airfix models (the newer ones in red boxes) are well-detailed, including recessed panel lines, fit together well and are amongst the less expensive model line-ups in the world. If it comes down to a given model versus the same model of a competitor, I always side with Airfix.
