Drum kits for all levels
DW drums are known for being very prestigious and they are ideal for any drummer who wants to unleash their inner rock god.
DW Drum Kits
DW drums and drum kits usually come in two different configurations. You have standard and fusion. The drum sizes help to distinguish each type of DW drum. Fusion kits tend to have 10” and 12” mounted toms and a 14” floor tom. This can be standing or set up on the floor.
If you play Drum Workshop drums then you'll soon find that they have much more volume and they also have a much bigger tone. Fusion kits are smaller and punchier, while standard DW drum kits are much more full-bodied.
Drum Materials and Construction
A DW drum that is made out of maple will have a much warmer and balanced tone. A falcata DW drum is often substituted instead of maple and it does cost a lot less. It has a very nice finish. The birch series DW drum is dense and it is also hardwearing with a bright sound. It is much louder when compared to the maple and falcata DW drum series and this means that it is ideal for those who want to record.
The birch series DW drum kit has the ability to cut through the mix and it has a very enhanced tone however it does have a lower level of midrange. A DW drum series kit can be constructed as a custom kit or bought as a full-kit. Drum kits by DW are ideal for beginners and experts
A DW drum kit is the ideal investment for those who want to record, for those who want to play casually and even for those who want to progress into a professional drum career. A DW drum kit is also great for those who want to get the most out of their tone.
