Elk the Label is an Australian ethical clothing and jewellery company founded by Melbournian, Marnie Goding, and her husband, Adam Koniaras, in 2004. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to producing and providing products that, as far as humanly possible, pass the test of eco-friendliness and sustainability.
Having left a corporate career in marketing, Marnie began by making jewellery, but as the business grew, she soon expanded into knitwear, handbags, footwear and a clothing range that also had to pass the test of "would we wear it?" Rather than being haute couture, Elk’s clothing designs are aimed at the practical Australian market and definitely meant to be "worn more than once."
The Elk the Label Ethos

They are very involved, personally supporting their stockists with merchandising assistance instore and providing products for VIP nights, giveaways and charity events. Elk also has a big following in Scandinavia after a woman living in Denmark became involved with their range.
Elk the Label has undergone an explosive growth in the USA with stockists including Anthropologie and Rent the Runway. Their plan for the future is to expand their retail interests, opening more of their own stores across Australia.
