Goldwell Shampoos and Conditioners

Goldwell has been producing hair care products since 1948 and expanded into Australia in 1983. Since the beginning, Goldwell hair care products have been made with the professional stylist in mind, and they can be found in hair salons across Australia and in many other countries. In addition to shampoos and conditioners, the Goldwell hair care range includes colour, perming and styling products.

Shampoos and conditioners come in a range of formulas to suit different hair conditions. Goldwell’s Dual Senses range includes products that can help moisturise hair, nourish and repair damaged hair, protect against breakage, thicken or boost volume, protect colours or detangle. Kerasilk shampoos and conditioners include some suitable for frizzy or hard-to-manage hair or ones that help prevent the loss of thin or weak hair.

The Goldwell hair care range also includes anti-dandruff shampoos and conditioners. These contain ingredients such as octopirox, zinc pyrithione and hydro-lime extract to help get rid of dandruff and prevent its return. They also help to settle and refresh the scalp.

For refreshing hair between washes, Goldwell dry shampoos are a great idea. As the name suggests, you use them without water. As well as freshening the hair, they can also add volume. Some dry shampoos are specially made with coloured hair in mind; they contain ingredients that can help prevent the colour from fading prematurely.

Some people prefer to use shampoos free of the sulphates SLS and SLES, as they may irritate the skin. There is also some discussion as to whether these compounds may be carcinogenic. Sulphate-free shampoos are available as part of the Goldwell hair care range.
