Want Long Hair? It's No Problem with Tape Hair Extensions
Sick of having short hair? Did the hairdresser take off way more than you asked for? Thanks to tape in hair extensions, you can go back to looking like you have long, luscious hair. The best part is that you can do it all yourself in an hour or two. There are many vendors on eBay that sell tape hair extensions.
Hair extensions come in many different forms, with tape and clip on being the most common temporary options. While they both have their advantages and disadvantages, clip in hair extensions need to be taken out each night and put in again every morning, adding an extra task to your routine. Tape in hair extensions can stay in your hair for up to 10 weeks.
Wash Your Hair
Before you get started, it is important to wash your hair. Because you are going to be working with tape, you don't want anything in your hair that could get stuck. Washing beforehand also helps to make your tape hair extensions last longer.
Section Your Hair
Start a couple of inches above your neckline and part your hair. Secure the top of it with a clip, leaving the bottom of your hair to work with. Grab a thin section of your hair that is about the width of your wefts. Attach the bottom extension to the section, making sure that it is even. Put the top extension on the other side of your hair, then hold them together for around 30 seconds.
Once they are stuck together, you can repeat the process, slowly working your way around your head. When all of the extensions are in place, you may want to cut your hair into a different style. When you finish cutting your hair, your hair extensions will barely be noticeable.
