Hilti Drill Bits

Based in Liechtenstein, Hilti is a family-owned company founded in 1941. The company specialises in industrial power tools and accessories. The range of cordless and corded drills include Hilti industrial hammer drills and more for various industrial drilling applications. To complement the selection of power tools, the company also offers a variety of drill bits suitable for drilling into masonry or metal.

Hammer Drill Bits

Designed for use with Hilti industrial hammer drills, these bits are made to drill into concrete and masonry. Some, such as the TE-CX 'imperial', are made to drill reinforced concrete, while others, such as the TE-C, are made to drill unreinforced concrete or sand lime block. Many of these bits feature high-strength, solid carbide heads. In addition, Hilti offers percussion core bit accessories for dry coring and socket cutting, as well as stop drill bits for drop-in anchors. The company also offers automatic hole cleaning bits, ideal for drilling holes to anchor structural steel connections.

Hex Shank Drill Bits for Metal

Hex shank drill bits are made for Hilti cordless tools. Hilti offers different models of drill bits designed for small-diameter holes in metal. These include the 'HSS', ideal for drilling most steels, and the 'HSS Co', which is perfect for thick stainless steel or high-tensile steel. In addition, the company offers stepper bits to drill or enlarge holes of different sizes. Lastly, Hilti also offers a hex shank masonry bit, so users can drill masonry with a smaller cordless drill.

Hex Shank Drill Bits for Wood

Like the hex shank drill bits for metal, Hilti drill bits for wood are made to fit the company's cordless drills. The company offers a set of spade bits of different diameters to drill shallow holes in wood. The bits are equipped with self-feeding threaded tips that reduce the vibration inherent in this type of bit. In addition, reamer edges ensure cleaner holes, and wing tips on the edges increase the speed of drilling.
