Holden Heritage Coin Set

Holden, also known as General Motors Holden, is an Australian auto manufacturer headquartered in Victoria. With its beginnings as a saddlery in the mid-1800s, as the turn of the century brought about automotive technology, it became a subsidiary of U.S. company General Motors and transitioned into auto manufacturing. Primarily responsible for selling imported General Motors vehicles and selling its own limited vehicles, the sale of Holden's own manufactured products ended in 2017.

Holden collector coins were uncirculated 50 cent coins struck by the Royal Australian Mint to commemorate Holden's 160 years as a cultural icon. In all, there are 11 different coins, each printed with a different well-known Holden model on the coin's reverse face. Holden produced many other collectable memorabilia during its term.
