Lowrance Boat GPS and Chartplotters
Nowhere has GPS come into its own the way it has on the water. With no landmarks marine navigation is very hard to do by eye; luckily, a Lowrance chartplotter with marine GPS makes it easy. Add in a fishfinder and you have everything you need.
Lowrance produces a number of different lines for the Australian market:
- HOOK2: The Lowrance HOOK2 line starts with an entry level fishfinder and moves up with your needs.
- Elite Ti: The Elite Ti series offers screens from as small as five inches to as large as twelve inches, along with wide scan sonar reaching out as far as 100 metres from the side of your boat.
- HDS Carbon: With screen that's bright enough for direct Sun and a dual-core processor, the HDS Carbon series brings navigation and fish finding to a whole new level.
Fishing and Navigation
For many boaters, fishing and navigation intertwine. You need to know the bottom to find the fish and know your location to return on your next trip. Adding sonar to GPS adds safety as well as fishing performance.
